For this project we were suppose to create our stencils for our glasses with a nature or earth related theme in mind. Many of us chose pollution, animals, world population, climate control, and other important topics relating to planet earth. Heres Jordan preparing to start his stencils, oh Jordan!
I chose wildlife as my theme, hoping to portray
that the animals were here first and that we need
to respect them and not ruin their habitats. On the
left you see my blank glass and what it look like
before I took the sand blasting hose to it. How you
achieve the look on the right is by covering the glass
in masking tape and cutting out the piece that you
want to look texturized creating a very awesome effect.
